My name is Jillian Lewis, I am the face behind this brand and this is a little bit about me. I was born in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada to two loving parents to whom I am so very grateful for the life they’ve given me. It wasn’t always easy in our house but there was never any question about how much my younger brother and I were loved and supported. That love and support gave me the courage to spread my wings and move to Alberta at the age of 22 in search of adventure.
In 2013 following the passing of my dad, I was compelled to dig deep within myself to figure out what the meaning of life and death really meant to me. Since then, I have taken many different classes, trainings, workshops and diplomas. I have discovered so much and have been inspired by so many. To the teachers and many others who have impacted my life, I am forever grateful.
I have been a practicing yoga since 2006 and received my 200hr teacher training from the amazing South Okanagan Yoga Academy (SOYA) in 2019. As well I am certified in pre and post-natal yoga, Yin yoga and yoga Nidra. I have a diploma in Nutritional Science and certifications in Reiki, Sound Essence therapy, Flow Breath work and I am a certified Family Constellation facilitator.
Prior to starting my work in the ‘wellness’ community I worked for 15 years as a sales woman and business owner in oil & gas. This wild west industry brought a whole new meaning to hustle, hard work, community and FUN! I am so grateful to have spent so much time in this industry and for the lifelong friendships I have made. Most importantly I am grateful because it was this industry that brough my husband and I together and brought Kora-Lynn and Daylon into my life and so allowing me the privilege of being a mom…. the best ‘job’ I’ve EVER had!
